Naomi Housdan

Naomi Housdan, 92, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Housdan was born May 5, 1931 in Corning, AR. She retired from Hart Furniture, Mfg. Sha was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, reading and visiting with family and friends. She was a long-time member of the House of Prayer in Corning.

She is survived by her son John Housdan of Corning, AR.; three daughters Cathy Davis of Reyno, AR., Linda Suftin of Walnut Ridge, AR., and Sheila Henderson of Pocahontas, AR.; step-daughter Stacy Rose of Snowflake, AZ.; four sisters Anna Pritchard, Mary Hoover, Alice Ferguson and Ruth Cavitt all of Corning, AR.; seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Housdan; parents Cecil and Samantha (Hart) Cooper; three brothers James “Jimmy”, Jerald and Dale Cooper.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Reverend Carmen McMasters officiating. Burial will follow the services at Cantwell Cemetery in Corning, AR.
