Nina Smith

Mrs. Ninabelle Christine “Nina” Smith, 94, of Knobel, AR., passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. Mrs. Smith was born in Saint Louis, MO., on January 23, 1924. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters Kathy Weston of Pocahontas, AR., Sharon and husband Randal of Lancaster, OH.; four brothers Toby C. Whitehead of Rockford, IL., Bill Whitehead of Elizabeth, AR., Frank Whitehead of Beebe, AR., Wendell Whitehead of Rockford, IL.; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Lewis Smith II; her parents Toby Clarence and Lelia Ora (Whitaker) Whitehead; her son James Lewis Smith, Jr.; two brothers Johnny Whitehead, Phillip Whitehead and her sister Martha Jane Owens.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Eric Moffett officiating. Burial will follow the services at Greene County Memorial Gardens in Paragould, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
