Mrs. Nita Belle Turner, 78, of Peach Orchard, AR., passed away Monday, August 8, 2011 at her daughter's home in Rockford, IL. Mrs. Turner was born in Peach Orchard, AR., on July 6, 1933. She was a homemaker and a factory worker, she enjoyed fishing, crochet and sewing. She was a member of the Peach Orchard Pentecostal Church.
She married her husband Sam Turner on June 6, 1981. He preceded her in death on August 9, 2009.
She is survived by two daughters Debbie Herren of Rockford, IL., Cheryl Coffman of Bush, LA.; two sons Mark Cannon of Rockford, IL., Brian Cannon of Peach Orchard, AR.; three brothers Gary Vallance of Rockford, IL., Charles Vallance, Jr. of Pocahontas, AR., Paul Davis Vallance of Paragould, AR.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Eva (Starns) Vallance; husband Sam Turner; son Mike Cannon; sisters Wanda Davis and Glenda Rutledge.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Marty McComas and Laverl Vallance officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Public visitation will be held Friday, August 12, 2011 from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
