Norma Lee Boyd

Mrs. Norma Lee Boyd, 76, of Knobel, AR., passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Boyd was born in Pocahontas, AR., she was a retired custodian for Knobel and Corning School Districts. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, and helping those in need. She was a member of Knobel Women’s Club and of the Baptist faith.

She married her husband Conrad Earling Boyd on July 5, 1952. He survives. Other survivors include three sons Gary Boyd of Paragould, AR., Lee Boyd of Corning, AR., Joseph Boyd of Knobel, AR.; one daughter Myrtle Starnes of Corning, AR; one sister Diane Brown of Brookston, IN.; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents Lester and Lela (Alphin) Triplett; one son Connie Lee Boyd (9/16/1990); and brother Sterling Triplett.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Sunny Williams officiationg. Burial will follow the service in the Bond Cemetery in Knobel. Public visitation will be held Friday, June 17, 2011 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
