Odis Williams, Sr.

Mr. Odis H. Williams, Sr., 78, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mr. Williams was born in Manila, AR., on December 24, 1939. He was a retired service station operator. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He enjoyed working, fishing, cardinal baseball and spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith.

He married his wife of 52 years Mrs. Sue (Camp) Williams on September 4, 1965. She survives, other survivors are his three children Odis Williams, Jr., and wife Tamatha of Corning, AR., Susan and husband Stephen Warner of Bella Vista, AR., Nancy Williams of Doniphan, MO.; two brothers Leroy Williams, Johnny Williams; two sisters Glenda Moore, Minnie Lou Flanigan; eleven grandchildren P.J., Ben, Clint, Sara, David “DJ”, Meghan, Lea, Angie, Sarah, Daniel, Kristopher; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by parents Earl and Minnie (Stultz) Williams; a brother Junior Williams; three sisters Barbara King, Vermell Crouse and Mary Jo McCollum.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Cam Stevens officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, July 23, 2018 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
