Mrs. Oliva Merita Yarbrough, 89, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Yarbrough was born in Pratt, MO., on June 29, 1922. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with grandchildren. She was a member of the Corning Church of Christ.
She married her husband Tony Yarbrough on June 9, 1945, he preceded her in death on November 11, 2011.
She is survived by one daughter Vicki and husband Gene Emery of Paragould, AR.; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tony Yarbrough; parents Walter and Bertha (Dalton) Upshaw; and one son Jim Yarbrough.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Bradshaw officiating. Burila will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Friday, April 27, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
