Mrs. Oma Gean Stormes, 90, of Knobel, AR., passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Stormes was born in Peach Orhcard, AR., on February 17, 1924. She was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith.
She married her husband of 45 years George Stormes on June 30, 1945. He preceded her in death on November 4, 1990.
She is survived by her daughter Billie Jean Hunt and husband James Roush of Corning, AR.; five grandchildren Wayne Edward Hunt of Knobel, AR., Charles Edward Hunt Jr., and wife Barbara of Marion, AL., Paul Gregory Hunt and wife Kimberly of Corning, AR., Brenda Kay and husband Kenny Eason of Corning, AR., Dora Ann Hunt Chandler of Ironton, MO.; seventeen great-grandchildren and twenty five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brother; her sister; a son-in-law Charles Edward Hunt; two grandchildren James Mitchell Hunt, Steven Scott Hunt and one great-grandchild Scott Edward Hunt.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Marlin Ray officiating. Burial will follow the services at Bond Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
