Mrs. Opal Lucille (Garrett) Dillard, 78, of McDougal, AR., passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Saint Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Dillard was born in McDougal, AR., on March 6, 1934. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed reading, sewing and quilting. She was a member of Post Oak Missionary Baptist Church in McDougal.
She married her husband Don Dillard in April of 1955, he preceded her in death on May 7, 2009.
She is survived by her five children Rudy Dillard of Paragould, AR., Terry Dillard of Paragould, AR., Kathy Flannery of McDougal, AR., Connie Stadler of Fayetteville, AR., David Dillard of Campbell, MO.; ten grandchildren Matthew Dillard, James Dillard, Tiffany McFadden, Amanda Sells, Lindsey Sells, Jacqueline Conway, Craig Calhoun, Holly Sells, Cory White, Rachael Stadler; five great-grandchildren Johnathan McFadden, Alexander McFadden, Brett Calhoun. Justin Williams, Colton Williams and one sister Evelyne Landers of Walnut Ridge, AR.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Ezra Garrett and Mattie Elizabeth (Reeves) Garrett Hensley; three brothers Bill Garrett, James Garrett, Harrison Garrett and one sister Viola Jordan.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Loy Culver officiating. Burial will follow the service in Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 1:00 PM until the time of service
