Mrs. Opal Imogene Wells, 81, of Rector, AR., passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR., Mrs. Wells was born in Hickoria, AR., on February 23, 1933. She was a homemaker, she was an animal lover especially cats and dogs.
She married her husband Richard Wells on July 2, 1953. He preceded her in death January 2, 1982.
She is survived by one son Charles Wells of Rector, AR.; and one daughter Phyllis M. Wells of Rector, AR.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Burl and Fannie (Denning) Howell; three brothers Doyne Howell, William Howell, Lloyd Howell and one sister Lucille Bearden.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Scott Small officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
