Mrs. Ophra Lee Cox of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Saint Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs Cox was born in Success, AR. She was a retired self-employed truck driver, she was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by four sisters Alice Sanders of Corning, AR., Nina Jo Williams of Corning, AR., Billie Tilley of Toppenish, WA., Judy Campbell of High Ridge, MO.; one brother Steve Vannada of Corning, AR.; one uncle Joe Choate of Pevely, MO., several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband "Hamp" Cox on November 13, 2002; her parents William Burl and Gladys Molly (Choate) Vannada; two brothers Sonny and Bud Vannada; two sisters Jean Foster and Pat Long.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
