Mrs. Patsy Jane Lockwood, 80, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Lockwood was born in Wolf Island, MO., on December 8, 1936. She was a retired secretary from the Corning School District. She enjoyed reading, and watching Cardinal baseball and also Razorback football and basketball. She was a member of Corning First Baptist Church.
She married her husband of 59 years Bob Lockwood on July 6, 1957. He survives, other survivors include three sons Mark Lockwood of Cabot, AR., Kent Lockwood and wife RaeAnn of Stuttgart, AR., Doug Lockwood and wife Rhonda of Mountain Home, AR.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Effie (Mulholland) Whitehead; daughter-in-law Leah Lockwood; brother Wesley Whitehead; three sisters Kathryn Cavitt, Willena Hutchison and Nancy Ahrent.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Josh Raspberry officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
