Mrs. Patsy Blaylock, 78, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Saint Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Blaylock was born in Knob, AR., on July 15, 1933. She was a retired secretary for Ermert Funeral Home and the Clay County
Assessor's Office. She was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist
Church.
She married her husband Bill Blaylock on March 7, 1964. He survives. Other survivors include one sister Jayne and husband Larry Scheer of Fort Smith, AR.; four nephews Britt and Blake Scheer, Ron and Steve Patterson; one niece Debby Adams; several grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Enoch and Lola (Dodd) Lucy.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Doug Burch and Steve Patterson officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
