Patsy Ruth Conley

Mrs. Patsy Ruth (Knowles) Conley, 85, of Success, AR., passed from this life peacefully with loving family bedside, on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN., after a brief illness. Patsy (Pat) was born in Success, AR., on August 25, 1933, the daughter of Lon and Ora Lee (Pringle) Knowles. Pat was a graduate of Corning High School and was an active member of the Success Church of Christ. Pat retired from Basler Electric in Corning and recently was clerk for the town of Success. Her interests were the Success Church of Christ, Red Hatters, gardening, fishing and travel, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her only child, daughter Terry Lee and husband David Hilsdon of Millington., TN; grandson Sean Eric Hilsdon (April Cheung); great-grandchildren Mitchell Eric, Garrett Wayne and Madison Lin; sister-in-Law Helen McGrew of Success, AR.,; former husband Claude Lee Conley, Jr. of Poplar Bluff, MO.; and many longtime friends.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by half-brothers James McGrew, Ray McGrew, Lester McGrew; and half-sister Wanda (McGrew) Scott.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with her nephew, Bruce McGrew officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hitt Cemetery in Success, AR. Visitation will be held Friday, August 2, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Pallbearers are David W. Hilsdon, P.E., Sean E. Hilsdon P.E., Greg Mock, Jason Guthrie, Todd Smith, Peyton Smith.

In lieu of flowers, Pat requested that memorials be made to the Success Church of Christ, P.O. Box 116, Success, AR 72470.
