Patsy Ann Varner

Patsy Varner, 77, of O’Kean, passed away November 26, 2024 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Mrs. Varner was born November 26, 1947 in Rockford, IL. She was retired and enjoyed cooking, sewing, yard work, gardening, and flowers. She was a member of Peach Orchard Pentecostal Church.

On September 19, 1963, she married Leyburn Varner. They recently celebrated 61 years of marriage.

Other survivors include her children Tony Lane Forehand and Kayleen Whitaker; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Harry and Anna (Brown) Lane; brothers Pete, Buck, Wesley, and Dave Lane; and sisters Mary Forehand, Wanda Summers, Glenda Tyler and Bonnie Flannery.

Visitation will be held Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home beginning at 2 p.m. with Larry Dobbins, Stanley Spence, and Mark Hufford officiating. Burial will be at Pirtle Cemetery in Peach Orchard.
