Paul Vardell

Mr. Paul Lavon Vardell, 81, of Paragould, AR., passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018 at The Green House Cottages of BelleMeade, in Paragould, AR. Mr. Vardell was born in Rector, AR., on September 20, 1936. He was retired from Warner Lambert Company, he worked most of his life doing factory and electrical jobs. He enjoyed playing Solitaire and the Lottery. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion and was Church of Christ in his faith.

He is survived by two sons Jeff Vardell and wife Sarah of Rockton, IL., Mark Vardell of Texas; five grandchildren Andy Vardell, Savannah Vardell, Nicole Scott, Michael Vardell, Melody Hipp; and several other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jasper Hardin and Eva Olden (Schales) Vardell; two brothers Hubert Vardell and Lewon Vardell.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Vardell officiating. Burial will follow the services at Salem Cemetery near Boydsville, AR., with Military Honors. Visitation will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 from 12:00 PM until the time of services.
