Mrs. Phyllis Marlyn Burl, 61, of Saint Peters, MO., passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 at Barnes-Jewish Saint Peters Hospital in Saint Peters, MO. Mrs. Burl was born in Corning, AR., on December 18, 1951. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, fishing, and painting. She was of the Christian faith.
She married her husband Jerome Orlando Burl on October 26, 1990 in Saint Charles, MO. He survives. Other survivors include two sons Michael Pustay of Grasslake, MI., Joseph Pustay of Jackson, MI.; brothers and sisters Judy Ogden, Billie Fowler, Barbara Sears, Marvin Curry, Sterling Curry, Ronald Curry, Renae Dunn; two grandchildren Lindzey and Ashley; and one great-grandchild Kylee Joy.
She was preceded in death by parents M.L. and Marie (Dobbins) Curry; and two sisters Ann Coonrod and Beverly Mannor.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bill Ivy officiating. Burial will follow in Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
