Pig Green

Mr. Othel Dale “Pig” Green, 78, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mr. Green was born in Des Ark, AR., on June 5, 1940. He worked in Timber, shoe repair and Tom’s Peanut Truck. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and mule and wagon trail rides.

He married his wife of 56 years Mrs. Hazel (Martin) Green on February 8, 1963, she survives. Other survivors are three children Tiwana and husband Larry Littrell of Drasco, AR., Ladonna Samons of Hardy, AR., Dale Green and wife Tammy of Corning, AR.; three brothers Henry Green of Nunnelly, TN., Paul Wayne Green of Alvarado, TX., Mike Green of Hot Springs, AR.; two sisters Alberta Reeser of Little Rock, AR., Cordelia Donaldson of Siloam Springs, AR.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Eldon Clifford and Lula (Ford) Green; 1 ^st wife Glenda Green; four brothers Clifford Green, John Green, Daniel Green, Bobby Green; two sisters Betty Bellamy and Sadie Green.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Black Cemetery near Success, AR., with Reverend Brian Malone officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 from 12:00 PM until leaving for the cemetery in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel.
