Polly Ann Boyd

Polly Boyd, 84, of Perry, GA passed away March 27, 2023 at Advanced Health and Rehab in Jeffersonville, GA.

Mrs. Boyd was born March 28, 1938 in Knobel. She was a retired pharmacy technician who enjoyed gardening. She loved spending time with her family and was of the Church of Christ faith.

On May 26, 1954, she married Neil Boyd. They celebrated their 68 ^th wedding anniversary prior to his death on December 3, 2022.

Survivors include his son Anthony “Tony” Starnes of Paragould; grandchildren Rachel Boyd Downs and Clyde Boyd; great grandchildren Miranda, Tyler, Clyde, Jace and Xander; niece Linda Darnell; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her son Vernon Boyd, Jr.; parents Cornelius and Odie (Howell) Malone; brothers Herman, Eugene and Junior Malone; and sisters Mary Alice Barnes, Martha Ferrell and Betty Sue Nelson.

A graveside service will be held Monday April 3, 2023 at 11 a.m. under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home at Bond Cemetery in Knobel. Burial will follow at Bond Cemetery.
