Mr. Quentin Cato, 49, of Walnut Ridge, AR., passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO. Mr. Cato was born May 15, 1972 in Pocahontas, AR. He was retired from Walnut Ridge Fire Department. He enjoyed attending car shows, going to the beach, playing video games, visiting with family and friends, and was an avid Cardinals fan. Quentin attended First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
On February 25, 1995, he married Deborah Potter, they recently celebrated their 26 th wedding anniversary. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his son Cody (Jennifer) Steele of Jonesboro, AR.; mother Lavadna (Lloyd) Farmer of Knobel, AR.; siblings Billy Dale Archer of Knobel, AR., Tabitha (Benny) Ricker of Knobel, AR., Irvin Cato, Jr. of Paragould, AR., and Amy (Jeremiah) Bruton of Delaplaine, AR.; grandson Newton Steele; parents-in-law Roy L and Charlotte Potter of Pocahontas, AR.; sister-in-law Rachel (Donald) Ruple of Pocahontas, AR.; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Irvin Cato; grandparents; and niece Raygan Bruton.
Pallbearers will be Chris Jones, Wes Lillard, Dennis Kincaid, John Farmer, Bobby Powell, Logan Gleghorn, and Ryan Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Emery, Alvin Taylor, Fred Summers, and Randy Clements.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of his funeral service at 12:oo PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel Pastor Jake Guenrich officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR.
