R. M. Huffman

Mr. R. M. Huffman, 73, of Corning, AR., died Monday, May 3, 2010 at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Huffman was a self employed mechanic and truck driver. He was a retired volunteer fireman in his community. He enjoyed fishing and NASCAR and was a member of First General Baptist Church in Corning.

He married his wife Shirley (Escue) Huffman on December 10, 1955 she survives. Other survivors are four children Mark Huffman of Conway, AR., Terrie Laubach, Larry Huffman, and Paul Huffman all of Corning, AR.; one brother Welby Huffman of Jonesboro, AR.; two sisters Lavada Crisler of Cash, AR., Connie Watson of Dallas, TX.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Eunice (Maulden) Huffman; son Kenny Huffman (1980); grand-daughter Tiffany Huffman; one brother Roy Paul Huffman; two sisters Albertine Muir and Joyce Pearcy.

Funeral services will be conducted graveside Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Markham Cemetery in Egypt, AR. with Reverend Don Dingus officiating. Public visitation will be in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, May 5, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
