Randel Hargraves

Mr. Charles Randel Hargraves, 84, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Hargraves was born on June 16, 1934., in Gideon, MO. He worked as a farmer, welder, carpenter, lawn care specialist and a custodian during his lifetime. He enjoyed woodworking, camping and being with his family. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church, Corning, AR.

He married the love of his life Mrs. Iola Faye (Hagar) Hargraves on June 4, 1955, together they celebrated 63 year of marriage. She survives, other survivors include his children Michael Hargraves and wife Donna of Marble Hill, MO., Steve Hargraves and wife Terri of Pearl City, HI., Dana and husband Keith Chanley of Holland, IN.; grandchildren Wesley Hargraves, Amanda Hargraves; Jonathan Hargraves, Toni Danielle and husband Michael Hussman, Oliver Hargraves, David Chanley and wife Elizabeth and Joseph Chanley; great-grandson August Hussman; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents James Duke and Eva Elizabeth (Ellsworth) Hargraves; brothers Delmer Hargraves, Leonard "Doc" Hargraves, Wade Hargraves, Vern Hargraves, James Duke Hargraves, Jr.; and sister Esther Naomi Smith.

Funeral services will conducted Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Keith Chanley and Ryan Curtis officiating. Burial will follow the services at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

His grandchildren will proudly serve as pallbearers.
