Ray Louis Hale

June 26, 1942 — February 17, 2010

Mr. Ray Louis Hale, 67, of Corning, AR died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Hale was a Truck Driver. He was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed work, going to the coffee shop, restoring tractors, running errands for his grandkids and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball.


He married his wife Dorothy (Wilder) Hale on November 19, 1971 she survives. Other survivors include four sons Floyd Vanpool of Rogers, AR., Tony Vanpool of Winter Haven, FL., Terry Hale and Brad Hale both of Paragould, AR.; one daughter Gidget Ervin of Corning, AR.; one brother James Hale of Paragould, AR.; three sisters Reba Bridges of Marmaduke, AR., Kay Blackford of Paragould, AR., and Pat Helms of Arizona.


He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Yvonne Hale and one brother Mickey Hale.


Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be Friday, February 19, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM
