Raymond Dobbins

Mr. Raymond L. Dobbins, 76, of Doniphan, MO., passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Southeast Health Center of Ripley County in Doniphan, MO. Mr. Dobbins was born in Hickoria, AR., on November 2, 1940. He was retired from Monroe in Paragould, AR. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and was of the Christian faith.

He married his wife of 46 years, Frances Dobbins on November 28, 1970. She survives. Other survivors include his children David Dobbins and wife Tonya of Doniphan, MO., Michelle Dobbins of Doniphan, MO., Gina Dobbins of Doniphan, MO., Rebekah Dobbins of Doniphan, MO.; three sisters Marie Malott of Mexico, MO., Carol Blanton of Jonesboro, AR., Loretta Shields of Knob, AR.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Luther and Bulah Caroline (Pence) Dobbins; three brothers Bill Dobbins, David Dobbins, Allen Walley and one sister Rozetta Thompson.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rick Hart officiating. Burial will follow the service at Post Oak Cemetery near McDougal, AR., with Military Honors. Visitation will be held Friday, December 9, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 PM.
