Retha Brownfiel

Mrs. Retha Loretta Brownfiel, 87, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Brownfiel was born in Success, AR. on June 13, 1924. Mrs. Brownfiel was a retired Assembly Worker for Basler Electric. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She married her husband J.W. Brownfiel on Febuary 7, 1944, he preceded her in death on January 7, 1966.

She is survived by three children Mike Brownfiel of Orange City, FL., Sharon Gearhart of Osage Beach, MO., Mark Brownfiel of Corning, AR.; six grandchildren Michael Brownfiel, Candy Bowman, Jason and Jeremy Gearhart, Wes and Landon Brownfiel and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband J.W. Brownfiel; parents Johnny and Frankie (Ennis) Poyner; daughter Brenda (Brownfiel) Edwards; five brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Clayton officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
