Mr. James Richard Prince, 63, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Prince was born in Bragg City, MO., on September 20, 1950. He was an auto body repairman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching old movies. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife Mary Prince of Dayton, TN.; five children Mary Lee Hovis of Dayton, TN., Penny Prince of Pikeville, IN., James Prince of Dayton, TN., Christy Lynn Pharr of Dayton, TN., Brian Prince of Dayton, TN.; three sisters Claudia Kohlbrecher of Mountain Home, AR., Sue Hines of Corning, AR., Patsy Tutor of Corning, AR.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie D. and Mattie L. (Pratt) Prince; three sisters Nina Jones, Velma Tyler, Johnnie Colefield; six brothers Billy Prince, Jerry Prince, Sonny Harold Prince, Gary Prince, Ralph Prince and Jim Prince.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Troy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow the services in Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
