Mr. Richard Rice, 63, of Berryville, AR., formerly of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at home. Mr. Rice was born in Corning, AR., on April 12, 1957. He was retired from the Arkansas Department of Transportation. He received his Technical Certificate in Welding from Black River Technical College. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He attended Faith Apostolic Church in Berryville, AR., was of the Pentecostal faith and was baptized in Jesus’ name in 1999.

He is survived by his son Danny Rice and wife Sarah of Berryville, AR.; mother Hilda Rice of Corning, AR.; siblings Danna Rice of Corning, AR., Alan Rice and wife Laurie of Mountain Home, AR.; grandchildren Abigail, Leah, Michaiah, Benjamin and Elisha.

He was preceded in death by his wife Annette Rice, son Earl Rice, father Danny Rice, grandson Josiah Rice and niece Jamie Hill.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Steven Thrasher, Jason Adams and Richard Mahan officiating. Burial will follow the service at Salem Cemetery near Boydsville, AR. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
