Mrs. Rita Carol Golliver, 65, of Pocahontas, AR., passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. Mrs. Golliver was born in Biggers, AR., on October 8, 1947. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed crocheting and she was a member of the Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Black Rock, AR.
She married her husband Otis Golliver in Randolph County, AR., on Janaury 1, 1965. He preceded her in death in 1974.
She is survived by her mother Loyce (Johnson) Rogers of Pocahontas, AR.; son Corey Golliver and wife Melanie of Pocahontas, AR.; daughter Annette Cusher of Redfield, AR.; three brothers Alan Rogers of Pocahontas, AR., Wayne Rogers of Lettsworth, LA. Larry Rogers of Biggers, AR.; three sisters Millie Thompson of Hoxie, AR., Patsy Hall of Pocahonts, AR., Sherri Rogers of Pocahontas, AR.; nine grandchildren Trisha and husband Ben Snow, Kim Golliver, Austin Golliver, Nick Golliver, Chase Golliver, Landon Golliver, Michael Cusher, Sara Cusher, Tori Cusher; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; father Jess Rogers; grandmother Lorene Johnson; grandchild Angel Golliver and son-in-law Michael Cusher.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roger Hovis officiating. Burial will follow the service in Greene County Memorial Gardens in Paragould, AR. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
