Rita Siefert

Ms. Rita Siefert, 79, of Jonesboro, AR., passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. Ms. Siefert was born in Peach Orchard, AR., on April 13, 1933. She was a retired Nurse’s Aide from Saint Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Jonesboro.

She is survived by son Louis Siefert and wife Diane of Trumann, AR.; daughter Nancy Trent of Jonesboro, AR.; two brothers Bill Engel of Florida, Fred Engel of Florida; two sisters Ann Engel of Knobel, AR., Marie Gish of St. Louis, MO.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Rose (Kirchner) Engel; three brothers Pete Engel, Louis Engel and Nick Engel.

Funeral Liturgy will be conducted Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Saint Joseph's The Worker Catholic Church in Corning, AR. Burial will follow the services in Saint Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home.
