Mr. Robert Lee Forbes, 71, of Corning, AR., formerly of Lafe, AR., passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Mr. Forbes was born in Lafe, AR., on July 25, 1943. He was a retired farmhand.
He is survived by one son Eddie Forbes of Paragould, AR.; two brothers Arlie Forbes of Saint Louis, MO., Bill Forbes of Knobel, AR.; two sisters Frances Ray of Knobel, AR., Linda Hendrix of Tuckerman, AR.; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jewell and Jane (Herring) Forbes; two brothers Emmet Forbes, Eddie Forbes; two sisters Vida Ruth Forbes and Mary Jane Daniels.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
