Robert Knotts

Mr. Robert E. Lee Knotts, 85, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mr. Knotts was born Engelberg, AR on August 1, 1928. He was a retired motel owner and self-employed metal heat treatment. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He was a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.

He married his wife of 59 years Mrs. Omagene (Hayes) Knotts on October 28, 1950, she preceded him in death on August 2, 2010.

He is survived by one son Robert Allen Knotts and wife Nancy of Frisco, TX.; one daughter Pamela Salmi of Burnsville, MN.; four grandchildren Jason Knotts, Nic Knotts, Dylan Salmi, Lucas Salmi; two half-brothers and one half-sister.

He was preceded in death by his wife; and his parents William Burton and Nellie (Collier) Knotts.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, December 23, 2013 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
