Mr. Robert J. Miller, 83, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mr. Miller was born in Datto, AR., on March 11, 1928. He was a self-employed landscaper and of the Freewill Baptist Faith.
He is survived by one son Robert Allen Miller of Elizabeth, IN.; his dear sweetheart and companion Margaret Elliott of Corning, AR.; two brothers Roy Miller of Success, AR., Don Miller of Corning, AR.; four sisters Wilma Dean Drewer of Galena, MO., Dorline Conner of Corning, AR., Betty McGrew of Corning, AR., Diane Rice of Rockford, IL.; five grandchildren Eric and Jessica Miller, Melisa Martino, Bryce and Breanna Melton.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Paul and Irene (Guthery) Miller; one son Larry Joe Miller in 1983; two brothers Paul Gailen and O'Neil Miller.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Steve Patterson officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Monday, August 22, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
