Mrs. Roberta Conway, 78, of Walnut Ridge, AR., passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge AR. Mrs. Conway was born in Olyphant AR., on January 8, 1938. She was a homemaker, she also enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking and taking care of elderly people. Roberta was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by three sons Mike Conway of Peach Orchard, AR., Jessie Conway of Augusta, AR., Wayne Conway of Marmaduke, AR.; three daughters Debbie Mooneyhan of Michigan, Maxine Behlke of Anchorage, AK., Joann Chavez of Van Buren, AR.; two brothers Bill Jones of Cabot, AR., Charlie Carter. three sisters Betty Cansler of McCrory, AR., Elsie Easley of Newport, AR., Lois Scholl of Anchorage, AK., twenty six grandchildren and thirty one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Delphia (Fain) Carter; one son Oather Conway; two brothers Max Carter, Elisah Carter; two grandsons Larry Boshears, Jr., Oather Lee Conway, Jr. and one great-granddaughter Caylee Conway.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 22, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Hosea Cemetery near Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8 PM.
