Roger Eason

Mr. Roger Dale Eason, 63, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 at home. Mr. Eason was born in Kennett, MO., on July 21, 1956. He worked as a farmhand. He had also worked for Black’s Sawmill and Darling Store Fixtures in Corning. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, carpentry, going to yard sales and working on cars.

He married his wife of 39 years Mrs. Evelyn Lorene (Thomas) Eason on October 3, 1980, she survives. Other survivors include their children Becky Eason of Corning, AR., Kally Kelly of Doniphan, MO.; brothers Earl Eason and wife Janet of Poplar Bluff, MO., Archie Eason of Paragould, AR., Tim Eason and wife Kathy of Jonesboro, AR., Les Eason and wife Kathy of Corning, AR., Kenny Eason and wife Brenda of Doniphan, MO., Bradley Eason and wife Tammy of Corning, AR.; grandchildren Lucas (Cheyann), Tim, Zachary and Cody Leonard; and great-grandchildren Braxton, Bravealynn, Sibyl and Ellie.

He was preceded in death by his parents Archie Jack and Barbara Lois (Summer) Eason and daughter Shelly Leach.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 9, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Eason officiating. Burial will follow the services at Richwoods Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
