Romeo and Vickie met when both were very young and become the love of each other’s lives in Wahiawa, Hawaii, where both of their fathers were stationed in the military. They shared the next 60 years as the apple of the other’s eye.

Together they spent many years in Las Vegas, NV., where he worked as a valet at Lady Luck Casino, and she worked as a Change Girl at the Golden Nugget and a Black Jack Dealer at the Mirage. Later in life, they moved to Arkansas to enjoy retirement.

Romeo had a deep love for music and was a talented drummer. He also found joy in coloring and drawing, expressing his creativity in many ways. In the evenings, he could often be found watching the Home Shopping Network, a simple pleasure he truly enjoyed. He had a deep and unwavering love for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, finding his greatest joy in their laughter and company. He took immense pride in their accomplishments, even when his health didn’t allow him to be there in person. No matter the distance or circumstance, his love and support never wavered. Whether through a warm smile, a heartfelt conversation, or simply spending time together, his family knew how much they were loved.

Vickie had a passion for cooking and was always on the lookout for new recipes to try. Whether experimenting in the kitchen or preparing meals for loved ones, she found joy in sharing her love through food. She cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always finding ways to show them how much they meant to her. Whether through a warm hug, a home-cooked meal, or a thoughtful gift from afar, she made sure they felt her love. Her great-grandchildren affectionately called her "Crazy Memaw," a name that perfectly captured her fun-loving spirit and the joy she brought into their lives.
