Mrs. Rosa Bridgewater Wilson, 86, of Corning passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She married her husband Clyde Norman Wilson on November 9, 1994 he survives, other survivors are four sons Terry Bridgewater and wife Barbara of Belvidere, IL., Billy Joe Bridgewater of California, Teddy Bridgewater of Oklahoma, John Wayne Bridgewater and wife Beth of Jonesboro, AR.; one daughter Ilene and husband Bill Halcomb of Pascagoula, MS.; one brother Frank Batton of Illinois; four grandchildren Twyla and husband Keith Miles, Michelle and husband Kelly Cochran, Cindy and husband J.J. Swanson, Nancy Bridgewater; 9 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Floyd Bridgewater on August 18, 1989; son Norman Bridgewater on June 6, 1991; granddaughter Tammy Gutierroz on July 17, 2009; and her parents.
Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, May 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gerald Berger officiating. Burial will follow the service at Williams Cemetery in Corning. Public visitation will be Sunday May 9, 2010 at 12:00 PM until the service.
