Rose Barker

Mrs. Rose Marie Barker, 93, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Corning Therapy & Living in Corning, AR. Mrs. Barker was born in Grand Forks, ND., on May 31, 1927. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family.

On June 1, 1945 she married her husband of 40 years Mr. Doyle Barker, he preceded her in death on December 1, 1985.

She is survived by her sons David Barker of Dimondale, MI., Daniel Barker of Lansing, MI., and Denis Barker of Lansing, MI.; daughters Rita (Larry) Adams of Poplar Bluff, MO., and Romona Barker of Corning, AR., grandchildren; Charlotte Barker, Sharlene Barker, Taylor Barker, Amy Havener, Marvin Barker, Dale Jr. Barker, Eric Barker, Justin Adams, Jason Adams, Jared Adams, Kevin Higgs, and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband; she was also preceded in death by her parents Louis and Roma Elmore, son Dale Barker, and daughter Barbara Ann Barker.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at Ermert Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. with Herb Ellis officiation. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard,AR.
