Mrs. Rose Mary Scott, 68, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Scott was born in Lansing, MI., on September 19, 1947. She was a retired manager. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, reading and playing Bingo. She was Church of Christ in faith.
She married her husband of 30 years Mr. Henry "Scotty" Scott, Sr., on March16, 1963. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1993.
She is survived by two sons Fred Scott of Corning, AR., Henry Scott and wife Cyndie of Union City, TN.; two daughters Carrie and husband Barry Bateman of Paragould, AR., Lynn and husband Terry Masterson of Corning, AR.; five siblings Ila Watson of South Dakota, Claire "Skip" Edison of Scottsville, MI., Tom Marsh of Florida, Richard Cartwright of Lansing, MI., Jacklin "Cookie" Millis of Grant, MI.; grandchildren Sayuri Scott, Hayden Scott, Scott Masterson and wife Erica, Bently Masterson, Stephanie and husband Kevin VanBrocklin, Jennifer Scott and fiancee Kyle Franks, Bailey Bateman, Dylan Bateman, Brooke Bateman, Tasia Alexander; great-grandchildren Kelci, Kyler, Preslie, Mason, Kevin, Emily, ShayLynn and Rylie.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Jack and Vivian (Egleston) Ryan; one son Monty Allen Scott and one grandson Rylen Scott.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Satturday, November 7, 2015 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
