Mrs. Rosie Oneta (Conway) Banks, 82, of Corning, AR., passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Banks was born in Knobel, AR., on July 9, 1932. She was a homemaker and a farmer's wife. She was of the Baptist faith.
She married her husband M.A. Banks on September 6, 1949. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1985.
She is survived by three daughters Joan and husband Bill Burch of Knoxville, AE., Joanne and husband Jim Mullis of Panama City, FL., Marlena and husband Sam Beeman of Paragould, AR.; two sons Duane "Joker" of Corning, AR., Keith Banks and wife Joy of Corning, AR.; siblings Virginia Snow, Billie Jean Hendera, Wanda Conway, Barbara Banks, Mona Vinson, Jessie Conway, George Conway, Bobby Joe Conway, and Marshia Estes; seven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents Other “Shorty” Conway and Dorthy (Vann) Conway-Blackwood; sister Betty Conway; and grandson James Anthony Mullis.
Graveside funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, Jul 15, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home.
