Mrs. Roxann Thompson, 75, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Monroe Manor in Monroeville, AL.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Corning, AR., on December 6, 1941. She was a retired from Wal-Mart where she was a department manager for shoes and jewelry. She enjoyed family genealogy and attended the House of Prayer in Corning, AR.
She married her husband of 57 years Mr. Bobby Lavan Thompson on June 10, 1960, he survives.
Other survivors include her children Darryl Thompson of Frisco City, AL., Michelle Bass of Fayetteville, AR.; grandchildren Marcus Thompson, Nicholas Pierce, Houston Bass, Sophia Bass, Chynna Bass; three great-grandchildren T.J., Keith, and Christian.
She was preceded in death by her parents Sylvester and Leona (Brewer) Hays; two sisters Carolyn Bowers and Elaine Hays.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
