Roy Miller

Mr. Roy Richard Miller, 75, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at home. Mr. Miller was born in Corning, AR., on December 30, 1943. He was a retired well driller who enjoyed flower gardening and duck hunting. He was a member of Big T Apostolic Church in Corning.

On February 3, 2001 he married Louise (Johnson) Miller. She survives, other survivors include his children Tammy Miller of Athens, GA., Lori Duff of Corning, AR., Richard Miller of Corning, AR., Danielle and husband Lonnie Sutton of Clarksville, MO., Shelly and husband Bobby Pugh of Corning, AR., Jesse Carter and wife Bridget of Imboden, AR., Chris Carter of Corning, AR.; one brother Don Miller and wife Pat of Corning, AR.; four sisters Wilma and husband Dale Drewer of Nixa, MO., Dorlene and husband John Conner of Corning, AR., Betty McGrew of Corning, AR., Diane and husband Pete Rice of Rockford, IL.; honorary daughter Carrie Malone of Corning, AR.; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Irene (Guthrie) Miller; three brothers Robert Miller, O’Neal Miller, Gailen Miller; and a grandson Jayce Malone.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bryan Malone officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hitt Cemetery in Success, AR. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
