Mrs. Ruby Ray Barker, 95, of Rector, AR., formerly of Success, AR., passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Barker was born in Greenway, AR., on December 14, 1917. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Success, AR.
She married her husband of 56 years Paul Emmett Barker on January 6, 1935. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1991.
She is survived by four sons Carl Barker of Monette, AR., Curtis Barker of Rector, AR., Roger Barker of Bonne Terre, MO., Ronnie Barker of Lake Saint Louis, MO.; seventeen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and thirty two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Alfred Newt and Georgie (Payne) Warbritton; four brothers Harry Warbritton, Hershel Warbritton, Mert Warbritton, Bert Warbritton and sister Marie Ward.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Jackie Pickett officiating. Burial will be at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, AR. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
