Ruby Krantz

Mrs. Ruby Jewell Hopkins - Krantz, 95, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, AR. Mrs. Krantz was born in McDougal, AR., on December 29, 1920. She was a retired homemaker who enjoyed sewing, gardening and music. She was a member of First Apostolic Church in Corning, AR.

She is survived by two sons Eugene Hopkins of Corning, AR., Leroy Hopkins of Maynard, AR.; two daughters Arvilla McKinney of Corning, AR., Barb Ruddock of Maynard, AR.; one brother Leonard Sprouse of Gainesville, AR.; one sister Bonnie Calhoun of Piggott, AR.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Onan Davis Sprouse and Liza (Lane) Johnson; husband Charlie Krantz; three sons Denver Hopkins, Bobby Hopkins, Leo Hopkins; one daughter Dorothy Morgan; five grandchildren Charles Ray McKinney, Talina Hopkins Edie Morgan, Jerry Hopkins and Robert Morgan.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 12:00 PM until the time of services.
