Ruby Marise

Mrs. Ruby Marise, 74, of Corning, AR. passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at home. Mrs. Marise was a retired C.N.A. and Restaurant Cook, she was of the Baptist faith, she enjoyed quilting, fishing and watching NASCAR.

She married her husband Richard Marise, Sr. on April 14, 1953 he preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son Rickey Marise, Sr. and wife Karen of Bald Knob, AR.; three daughters Roberta and husband Joe Tutor of Randolph, MS., Rita and husband Jerry Parish of Ripley, MS., Mae and husband James Jackson of Corning, AR.; two brothers Raymond Leperd of Victoria, MS., (Bud) Harold Leperd of Victoria, MS., four sisters Shirley Trotter of Victoria, MS., Betty Campbell of Victoria, MS., Bobbie and husband Henry Courtney of Red Banks, MS., Peggy and husband Bobby Rainey of Ripley, MS.; 26 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 12 great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Marise, Sr.; her parents David Green and Vera Estel (Hopkins) Leperd; children Richard Earl Marise, Jr., Ruby Ann Marise, Rosie Marie Marise; brothers Charlie T. Leperd, Randell Leperd; grandchildren Joshua Logan James Marise, Brandy Ann Hinson and Kindra Hughes.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Joe Tutor and Marvin Ward officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
