Ruby Williams

Ruby Williams, 85, of Knobel, AR., passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Green House Cottages of Belle Meade in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Williams was born February 23, 1940 in Peach Orchard, AR. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She attended Knobel Church of Christ.

On November 26, 1955, she married Doyle Ray Williams. They were married 51 years prior to his death on October 30, 2007.

Survivors include her sons Guy (Lisa) Williams, Jeffery (Tina) Williams, and James (Kimberly) Williams, all of Paragould, AR.; brother Donald (Susy) Price of Mt. Pleasant, SC.; sister Donna Reed of Poplar Bluff, MO.; grandsons Guy (Sharae), Cecil, Luke and Marcus; great-grandsons Hunter and Cole Eugene; sister-in-law Marie Hickman of Corning, AR.; and several other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents James and Sadie (Stormes) Price; brothers Junior (Geraldine), George (Pearl), Dave (Iris) and Raymond Price; sisters Roberta (Ed) Forbes and Lucille Price; grandchildren Lane Williams and Elizabeth Garner; brothers-in-law Harold Hickman, Jerry Reed and Donald (Ruth) Williams.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside funeral services will begin at 11:30 AM at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR., with Gary Cremeens officiating.
