Mrs. Ruby Geneva Willis, 91, of Walnut Ridge, AR., formerly of Saint Louis, MO., and Paragould, AR. passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Home in Walnut Ridge, AR. Mrs. Willis was born in Marmarduke, AR., on May 20, 1923. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed sewing and flower gardening.
She is survived by four children Betty Privette of Lake Wappapello, MO., Larry Ashlock of Blue Springs, MO., Kathy Tabaka of Corning, AR., Debra Burbin of Corning, AR.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Marvin Willis; her parents Robert and Genora (McKinney) Halcomb; three daughter Jannetta "Nettie" Harris, Loretta "Carol" Moore, Marilyn Woggermon; two brothers Huey Halcomb and Sonny Halcomb.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
