Rudolph "Rudy" Johnson

Rudolph “Rudy” Johnson, 86, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Corning Therapy and Living Center. Mr. Johnson was born November 9, 1936 in Moark, AR. He was retired from First National Bank in Corning. He proudly served in the United States Army. Rudy enjoyed spending time with his family, riding horses, bowling, and was an avid fan of all sports. He was of the Baptist faith.

On December 7, 1957, he married Fern Holt. They were married 63 years prior to her death on June 3, 1921.

He is survived by his children Terry and husband Rick Conrad of Paragould, AR., Jackie Johnson and wife Karla of Steele, MO.; brother Clesten Johnson of Dexter, MO.; grandchildren Stefanie (Duff) Compton, Matt Conrad, Taylor Laden, Justin Johnson, John Thomas Laden, Dalton Conrad and Braden Johnson; seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents Herbert Roy and Alice Lauell (Richardson) Johnson; and brother Aubrey Johnson.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel until the time of funeral service at 1:00 PM with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery.
