Russell L. March

Brother Russell L. March, 89, of Reyno, AR., passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025 at home. Brother March was born May 3, 1936 to Riley and Ethel March in Corning, AR. He enjoyed a long career as a Long Haul truck driver. Brother March enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He loved animals, reading his bible and going to church. He loved his family, and spending time with them. He was a deacon, trustee and devout member of the 1st Apostolic Church of Success, AR.

On June 7, 1980, he married Verma Juanita Sexton. They were married 38 years prior to her death on July 3, 2018.

Survivors include his children, Frank March of Rockford, IL., Vickie March of Reyno, AR., Michael March and wife Yuronda of Rector, AR., Mark March of Byron, IL., Jaris and husband Robert Campbell of Hoxie, AR., Linda and husband Roger Peterson of Rockford, IL., Donna and husband Kevin Buss of Davis, IL., Wayne Yttrie and wife Belle of Rockford, IL.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and counting; and many other relatives and friends. His quiver is full.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his sons Russell “Russ” March and Rickey Yttrie; and his daughter Kathy Slayden; parents Riley Samuel and Ethel Mae (Smith) March; brothers Arvil, Samuel, and Zenith March; and sister Rachel Foster.

Visitation will be held Saturday July 5, 2025 in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM. Funeral service will begin 2:00 PM with Reverend. Richard Mahan officiating. Burial will be at Maynard Cemetery, in Maynard, AR.
