Russell March

Mr. Russell “Russ” Stanley March, 60, of Black Rock, AR., passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. March was born in Rockford, IL., on November 29, 1957. He wore many hats during his life including being a truck driver, medical transport driver and his favorite being a minister of the gospel. He loved to minister to people. He also enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and flea marketing. He was a member of Life Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Walnut Ridge, AR.

He married his wife Mrs. Tammy (Cassell) March on January 18, 2002. She survives, other survivors include his three children Sheila March of Rockford, IL., Jessica and husband Bradley Wells of Nesbit, MS., Tori and husband Evan Stinson of Clarksville, TN.; his father Russell March and wife Juanita of Reyno, AR.; his mother Betty and husband Del “Pappy” Riemer of Ravenden, AR.; eleven siblings William Frank March of Rockford, IL., Michael March and wife Ronda of Arbyrd, MO., Mark March of Byron, IL., Carl March and wife Tammy of Cave City, AR., Wayne Yttrie of Rockford, IL., Ricky Yttrie of Reyno, AR., Shawn Riemer of Las Vegas, NV., Vickie March of Walnut Ridge, AR., Jaris and husband Robert Campbell of Reyno, AR., Linda and husband Roger Peterson of Rockford, IL., Donna and husband Kevin Buss of Pecatonica, IL.; nine grandchildren Zachary, Giovanni, Aiden, Adalie, Weston, Watson, Tiffany, Rebecca and Zachery.

He was preceded in death by his sister Kathy Slayton.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Nathanael Hancock, Patrick Hancock and Richard Mahan officiating. Burial will follow the services at Maynard Cemetery in Maynard, AR. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
