Mr. Russell Deen McElhaney, 76, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Saint Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR., Mr. McElhaney was born in Corning, AR., on January 15, 2015. He was a retired farmer. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy.
He is survived by a sister Mavis Lawrence of California, a niece and nephew and lots of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Willie (Brannum) McElhaney; and a sister Patsy Ruth McElhaney.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Fred Martin and Reverend Jimmy McMasters officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
