Ruth Aden

Mrs. Ruth Aden, 73, of Palatka, AR., passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022 at home. Mrs. Aden was born December 15, 1948 in Saint Louis, MO. She was a home health nurse and minister’s wife who enjoyed crocheting, watching T.V. and loved taking care of her dogs she lovingly referred to as her four kids. She was a member of Millhouse General Baptist Church in Corning, AR.

On May 11, 1997, she married Reverend Joseph Aden. They were married 15 years prior to his death on June 29, 2012.

Survivors include her children Patty Allen of Corning, Leon Bone, Jr. of New Haven, MO, Edward Bone of Chester, IL, and Goldie Gray of Corning; step-son Josh Aden of St. Louis; bonus son Kenneth Brown; siblings Ray, Randall, Roger, Rebecca, Rita, Rosalyn and Rosalee; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Goldie Mae (Benton) Jennings; brothers Ralph Jr. and Roy; and grandchildren Jonathan, Abigal, Amanda and Edward Jr.

Visitation will be Monday, March 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM with Pastor Tom Payne officiating.
